Fallout 4 takes Best of Show at E3 2015

New, 10 comments

Fallout 4 took best-of-show honors, along with citations in the PC game and role-playing game categories, in the Best of E3 awards announced today.

Fallout 4 was nominated in four categories when the finalists were announced last week. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End took honors in two of the three categories for which it was nominated — Best Console Game and Best Action-Adventure Game — while picking up a third when E3 judges issued it a special commendation for graphics.

Star Wars Battlefront was nominated in five, taking home two ribbons, for Best Action Game and Best Online Multiplayer. These were the only multiple award winners from this year's exposition.

To be nominated, a game had to be playable at E3 2015, which explains why some high profile titles announced at the show went unmentioned.
