Mirror's Edge Catalyst publisher Electronic Arts is producing a Collector's Edition for the open-world game, and like the game itself, the package focuses on Faith, EA announced today.
The main draw of the Collector's Edition is a 14-inch statue featuring two versions of Faith, the series' protagonist: one as an adult and one as a child. Mirror's Edge Catalyst developer EA DICE isn't calling the game a prequel; instead, senior producer Sara Jansson told Polygon at E3 that the studio is "building up the character of Faith." The Collector's Edition statue suggests that Mirror's Edge Catalyst players will see Faith at various points in her life.
Mirror's Edge Catalyst comes in a Steelbook case in the Collector's Edition, which also includes an exclusive lithograph; a set of 10 pieces of concept artwork; and two temporary tattoos, one of the Mirror's Edge logo and another that resembles the one on Faith's right arm.
The Collector's Edition of Mirror's Edge Catalyst is a pricey one, coming in at $199.99. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One worldwide, although in "limited quantity." Pre-orders will go live later today at GameStop, with other retailers to be announced soon. You can see an image of the Collector's Edition below.
