Toy Soldiers: War Chest is a game that will bring together a bunch of childhood classic toys for virtual battles, including the previously announced G.I. Joe and He-Man toy sets. But it will also include some more modern additions thanks to publisher Ubisoft. At a panel at San Diego Comic-Con today, Ubisoft revealed that an Assassin's Creed faction will be added to the game.
Led by Assassin's Creed 2 protagonist Ezio, the assassins will join He-Man as one of the few factions in the game based around melee combat. Besides fighting G.I. Joe and He-Man troops, the assassins will be able to fight some original toy sets created by developed Signal Studios. Those include the fantasy-based Dark Lord set and the colorful StarBright set.
Ubisoft also unveiled a Cobra faction to go along with the G.I. Joe faction. Toy Soldiers: War Chest is planned for release later this year.
