Want a closer look at the sound-based abilities of Overwatch's newest hero, Lúcio? Blizzard Entertainment just released seven minutes of gameplay featuring the Brazilian DJ turned freedom fighter, offering an overview at the new support class' abilities.

Lúcio is armed with the Sonic Amplifier, a speaker-like weapon that can emit blasts of sound, knocking back enemies. He can also heal his teammates or give them a speed boost, thanks to his musical Crossfade ability. His ultimate ability grants his allies a temporary sonic shield, all of which can be seen in the above gameplay video.

Blizzard revealed Lúcio at Gamescom this past week in a short video that highlighted his unique abilities.

Over the past months, Blizzard has released a series of gameplay videos highlighting Overwatch's team of heroes, including Soldier 76ZaryaBastion, Pharah, ReinhardtTjorbörn, ReaperHanzo, Tracer, Zenyatta, McCree and Mercy.

Overwatch is coming to Mac and Windows PC, with a beta planned for later this year.
