Survival simulators are all the rage right now, thanks to the rich ways in which they usually reward players' patience and resourcefulness. Few are willing to take that idea to the extreme like Sheltered, a new post-apocalyptic sim from Worms series developer Team17. The game's in early access on Steam and Xbox One, but it already incorporates some challenging ideas: Like, for instance, if anyone in your family keels over, you can turn them into food. Naturally, this exchange comes at the cost of your mental wellbeing, but, hey! Food!
You can watch us make Gregory sandwiches in the Overview for Sheltered above. You can also pick up some pro-level strategies, like how to turn your two children into a pair of heartless wasteland marauders.
