The D23 Expo — named after the year the company was founded — has been a place for Disney to strut their upcoming stuff and for fans to celebrate their favorite films since 2009.
And now that Marvel and Star Wars movies fall squarely under the Disney umbrella, the biennial conference has also been the place for Marvel and Star Wars news, just as much, if not more, than San Diego Comic-Con.
