Watch us play the first eight minutes of Tacoma, Gone Home's sci-fi successor

It feels like it's been ages since the 2014 Game Awards saw the world premiere of Tacoma, The Fullbright Company's second game following up their debut title (and Polygon Game of the Year winner) Gone Home. The small handful of teasers and trailers for the sci-fi game have left us with far more questions than answers: how much does it resemble Gone Home? Is this is an exploration game a horror game, a mystery, or somewhere in between?

Earlier this month, we spent some time playing Tacoma for ourselves, and came back with answers to a few – but not all – of those questions. Above, watch us explore Amy Ferrier's first eight minutes aboard Lunar Transfer Station Tacoma, and see Fullbright's novel approach to storytelling through the use of holographic avatars.

Tacoma is coming out on Windows, Mac and Linux sometime in 2016. For more on Tacoma, check out our E3 interview with Fullbright's Karla Zimonja.
