The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta for PlayStation 4 is live, launching a bit earlier than the publicized Wednesday kickoff.
If you pre-ordered a copy of the game and already registered, you should be getting your Beta token any time now. If you pre-purchased the game through the PlayStation Store, you don't need a code, you just go and download the beta and get to playing.
The multiplayer beta was set to launch for folks who pre-ordered on the PlayStation 4 tomorrow, but developer Treyarch managed to get its ducks in a row and go live a bit earlier then expected.

The beta includes access to a handful of Specialists, unlockable weapons and a variety of Core gameplay modes before winding up on Aug. 23. The Windows PC and Xbox One beta for the game is set for a Aug. 26 kick-off.
This will be the first beta for a Call of Duty game since 2008's Call of Duty: World at War, which was also developed by Treyarch.
The game launches on Nov. 6.
