P.T., the beloved Playable Teaser for the ill-fated Silent Hills, is just beginning to really show its influence in the video game horror genre. Case in point: Layers Of Fear, a freaky first-person horror game from the folks at Bloober Team.
Layers of Fear takes the P.T. aesthetic — walking around a house, with plenty of repeating rooms — and adds an entire backstory about a deranged painter trying to complete his "masterpiece." The house changes around you, shifting weird elements as you explore all of its decaying wonders. Layers of Fear is slated for an Early Access launch for Windows PC on Aug 27.
