Ubisoft has announced that the PC version of Assassin's Creed Syndicate will arrive on Nov. 19, about four weeks after its console launch on Oct. 23.
Ubisoft said the extra time is necessary to "finalize all of the polish and optimization, to make sure the game and all of its systems are stable when it launches."
Ubisoft Kiev is handling the Windows PC port. Ubisoft Quebec is developing the main edition for consoles, which still is on schedule.
The only time an Assassin's Creed PC game has launched on the same day as a console edition was last year, and it was one of the biggest and most bug-filled disasters of 2014. Prior editions announced for the same date as the console launch were all postponed by a month or more.
