Voldemort was a bit of a cartoon villain in the Harry Potter films. He showed up, chewed some scenery, was obviously evil, and there you go.
What if Harry Potter himself was the bad guy?
This re-edited trailer tackles that issue and comes up with a pretty neat idea for a fantasy film in the process. What if you have a child who is incredibly talented in magical arts, has a deep tendency towards violence, and it takes too long for those around him to realize and act against him?
In many ways this feels like what it would look like if they made a Voldemort origin story, and that's a movie I would like to watch very much.
