Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 will offer a demo on consoles on Aug. 13, more than a month before the game's launch, Konami announced today.
The demo will be available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It launches on those platforms, plus Windows PC, on Sept. 15.
The demo will feature club and national teams "and will offer a perfect snapshot of the many on-field advances the new game offers." Among those features are dynamic weather that can change mid-match, greater variety of player reactions and stronger goal keepers with more authentic behavior in stopping shots. More about PES 2016's improvements may be read here.
PES' development team has vowed this will be the best edition in the series. Last year's Pro Evolution Soccer 2015, its second edition under Kojima Productions' Fox Engine, recovered beautifully from earlier missteps. Polygon scored it an 8.
