After a brief delay, the latest installment in Naughty Dog's Uncharted series — Uncharted 4: A Thief's End — now has a release date of March 18, 2016. And, as has become customary, along with a release date comes the endless special editions and collector's editions and digital collector's editions. On this front, Uncharted 4 does not (or does?) disappoint.
First up is the $80 "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Special Edition" which comes with an art book, a special case for the Blu-ray and some in-game currency. If you're still feeling spendy though, consider the $120 "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Libertalia Collector's Edition" which adds a statue and some in-game costumes and weapon skins.
If you prefer to leave the tchotchkes and have your games digitally, Sony has an $80 "Digital Deluxe Edition" which comes with the game and a $20 piece of DLC called the Triple Pack, which includes "future access to the first-ever, single-player story add-on for the Uncharted series and two multiplayer packs that will unlock new, rare and legendary multiplayer items."
There's also a preorder bonus pack and retailer specific preorder bonuses and ... we'll leave it up to Sony to give y'all the hard sell on this stuff.
