Kick back and enjoy the ride in five minutes of Final Fantasy 15's driving mode

At PAX Prime this weekend, Final Fantasy 15 director Hajime Tabata confirmed that the long-awaited role-playing game would indeed arrive sometime in 2016. Tabata and Square Enix also showed off a lengthy, relaxed road trip through the Lucis countryside to highlight Final Fantasy 15's driving features, which you can rewatch in high definition in the video above.

Watch Noctis and friends cruise along the Lucis coastline and eventually arrive at Caem, which Square Enix describes as "a secret outpost near the sea that acts as a port for transferring players between continents."

Final Fantasy 15 is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next year. Square Enix plans to announce the game's final release date at a special event in March.
