Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will feature cross-play compatibility between its Windows 10 and Xbox One versions, creator Koji Igarashi revealed at Xbox's Gamescom news conference today.
Igarashi also revealed a new character (pictured above), described as a demon hunter. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is the spiritual successor to the Castlevania series, for which Igarashi was once the producer. It was funded at $5.5 million in June, becoming Kickstarter's most-funded video game project at the time (later surpassed by Shenmue 3.)
The developers plan to release Bloodstained on consoles, portables and PC platforms in 2017.
