Developer DICE unveiled a new mode for Star Wars Battlefront at EA's Gamescom press conference today: Fighter Squadron. The new mode focuses on ship-to-ship combat above the surface of planets and through treacherous terrain.

Star Wars Battlefront's Fighter Squadron mode features iconic Star Wars starfighters, including A-Wings, X-Wings, TIE Interceptors and TIE Fighters, as well as hero-style ships, like the Millennium Falcon and Boba Fett's Slave I.

DICE says the battles in Fighter Squadron will feature up to 20 combatants, including AI-controlled ships. You can see some of that action in the mode's debut trailer above, which takes place on the planet Sullust.

Star Wars Battlefront is coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on Nov. 17.
