The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes is coming to Nintendo 3DS this October

The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes will launch for Nintendo 3DS on Oct. 23, Nintendo announced today.

Tri Force Heroes is a multiplayer game in which up to three players work together to solve puzzles, explore dungeons and stomp bad guys; the game allows for AI companions or local play with friends. Each version of Link can equip different weapons and special outfits that provide unique advantages, such as extra hearts or archery abilities.

Tri Force Heroes was announced at E3 earlier this year. Watch the video below to see the game in action.
