An update to the beta for Halo 5: Guardians leaked out a good portion of the game's original soundtrack as well as several screenshots of its multiplayer menus, including the Warzone mode.
Halo 5: Guardians' multiplayer beta ran from late December to January and remains unplayable but is apparently still accessible for those who have it installed. Someone spied the update, captured the new music, and uploaded it to YouTube yesterday. YouTube channel Halo Memes uploaded this version, noting the original had been set to private.
Separately, NeoGAF users noticed and posted six screenshots of multiplayer menus showing customization options and other details. They may be seen here.
We've mentioned the leak to a Microsoft representative to ask if this material will be part of the final game or is something else. This post will be updated with any reply.
Update: A Microsoft spokesman responds:
It's unfortunate when work-in-progress content leaks, but this Halo 5: Guardians content is part of our ongoing private, external testing for multiplayer. We will continue to rigorously test Halo 5: Guardians to ensure the best possible experience for fans at launch
Warzone, a 24-player multiplayer mode, was showcased during Microsoft's E3 news conference. You can see video of it below. Halo 5: Guardians launches Oct. 27 on Xbox One.
