Activision rolled out an artist’s concept of the map (above). Nuketown debuted in 2010’s Black Ops and was updated as Nuketown 2025 in 2012’s Black Ops 2. With Black Ops 3 fast-forwarding to 2065, the fan-favorite training ground needed another redo.
Those who preorder the game will receive a code for downloading the map, which will be available for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on its Nov. 6 launch day. Nuketown will not be available for the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 versions of the game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 just went through a multiplayer beta for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. For more, see our hands-on preview of its multiplayer from E3 2015.
