Star Wars Battlefront will get a multiplayer beta on all platforms in early October, Electronic Arts has announced.
Star Wars Battlefront beta begins in October, says EA

The beta will feature Walker Assault on Hoth, which accommodates 40 players in a Rebels-vs.-Empire battle on the ice world. Walker Assault also offers the opportunity to play as Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker.
A second map, Survival Mission Tatooine, pits the player and one other in a fight against waves of Imperial forces.
The beta will also introduce an entirely new mode, Drop Zone. EA said more details on that would be coming later.
There will also be something called the Battlefront Companion, which incorporates a strategy card game called Base Command that delivers in-game unlocks such as weapons. Battlefront Companion also lets players inspect their stats and progression, manage loadouts, and connect with friends who play the game. More details are available at the link.
