He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's full name isn't spoken aloud often in the Harry Potter series, but when it is, it's typically pronounced the same: with a full and robust T on the end, Vol-de-mort. But that's not exactly how the creator of Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling, says it.

Any confusion on the part of fans is understandable, given the films themselves side with this apparently incorrect pronunciation.
