Doctor Who series 9 begins right now with this two-minute prologue

You don't have to wait until Sept. 19 to watch the ninth season of Doctor Who. It starts today, in abbreviated form, with a two-minute prologue from the BBC.

It begins in medias res, which is how film students say "in the middle of things." Think of the first Star Wars movie, which starts in the midst of a space battle. Or any Star Wars movie, really.
