Sublevel Zero, from U.K.-based Sigtrap, is a six-degree-of-freedom shooter coming to Steam in October. Right now available only to the press as an endless roguelike, the final game will also feature a campaign mode. Charlie and Griffin dive headlong into this tough-as-nails game and immediately feel a deep longing for the classic Descent.
Sublevel Zero is also being developed for the Oculus Rift. We've not tested how it controls on that platform, but right now it handles well with an Xbox 360 gamepad or keyboard and mouse.
