Lego Dimensions epic voice cast includes Back to the Future reunion

In a new video released today, Lego Dimensions shows off its giant, impressive voice acting cast.

The names include The Lego Movie stars Chris Pratt, Allison Brie, Elizabeth Banks, and Charlie Day, all of whom reprise their roles from the film.

Gary Oldman (a.k.a. Sirius Black) also stars in the game as its villain Lord Vortech, and Joel McHale (of the dearly departed Community) can be heard as the game's robotic guide, X-PO.

More excitingly, however, is the appearance of Back to the Future's Doc Brown and Marty McFly — otherwise known as Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox. While Christopher Lloyd was revealed in another trailer back in May, this is our first time hearing Michael J. Fox in the game. These are just two of the classic characters who will be seen and heard in the game: The video also features the Stay Puft Man from Ghostbusters and Shaggy and Scooby from Scooby-Doo.

The developers, Traveller's Tales, promise that characters from these and other series like The Lord of the Rings and The Simpsons will also show up in the game, their veteran voice actors alongside them.

This doesn't even begin to cover the extent of the big names that roll by throughout the video. Watch it to catch all of the names, but here's a few to start you off: Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who), Stephen Merchant (Portal), and Nolan North (Destiny, Uncharted, Sonic the Hedgehog, etc.).

Lego Dimensions launches Sept. 27 on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
