Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness lands February 2016 in Japan

Publisher Square Enix announced the Japanese release date of Feb. 25 for the Star Ocean series’ fifth entry at Tokyo Game Show. The studio also debuted a new trailer for the game, seen above. A Western launch has not yet been confirmed.

We spoke to the game’s producer, Shuichi Kobayashi of Tri-Ace, earlier this year. Kobayashi expressed his hope that Integrity and Faithlessness, which follows the series’ seeming-conclusion Star Ocean: The Last Hope, will help to resurrect both the franchise and “the Japanese role-playing game genre as a whole.”
