Our first look at TV's Hawkman and Hawkgirl highlights one massive problem

Among the ensemble cast of DC superheroes set to appear in CW's upcoming series Legends of Tomorrow are both Hawkman and Hawkgirl.

The Los Angeles Times got a first look at the duo in full costume and it's a bit of a bummer. The helmets are OK, though they've toned down the fierce look. The morning star? Well it's beautiful and I sure hope Hawkgirl still has one. But why have both become suddenly so prudish, and where in the hell are their wings?

For those of you not up on Carter Hall and Kendra Sunders and their Horus-powered super getups, here's a comparison of the TV show costumes and the comic book ones.

Here's hoping they just left the wings out of this shot.
