Xbox Live Gold subscribers can download two notable games starting tomorrow.
Tomb Raider is being offered on Xbox One, while Crysis 3 is available to Xbox 360 owners. Microsoft offers two games a month on each platform as part of its $60-per-year online gaming service. Players can retain the Xbox One games for as long as they continue their subscription, while Xbox 360 Gold games are for keeps. The two games coming to the end of their promotion today are The Deer God for Xbox One and Battlestations: Pacific for Xbox 360.
Tomb Raider, released in 2013, was a successful reboot of the classic action-exploration franchise, which received widespread praise from critics. Polygon called it an "intense, polished adventure." Crysis 3 from Crytek is a first-person shooter that also attracted positive reviews and commercial success.
