Pokkén, the Pokémon fighting game by the team behind the Tekken series, will make its stateside debut at Dave & Buster's next week.

The arcade and birthday party-hosting restaurant chain first mentioned plans to bring the game to its locations back in July. Kevin Bachus, Dave and Buster's senior vice president, revealed his intention to debut Pokkén in an Ask Me Anything on Reddit.
The chain previously tested Bandai Namco's Tekken 7 in its locations nationwide this summer. While Pokkén will first be available in the Times Square location, it's possible that machines will later appear in other venues across the country.
The game's Wii U counterpart, Pokkén Tournament, has a release date set for sometime next spring. A new trailer for the game shown at Tokyo Game Show earlier today debuted footage of Pikachu as a luchador, effectively increasing hype for the title tenfold.
