If you want a gold PS4, you'll need to go to Taco Bell

PlayStation and Taco Bell will give away limited edition gold PlayStation 4 bundles every 10 minutes from Sept. 24 to Nov. 4, according to a post on the official PlayStation blog.

The bundle comes with the console and a DualShock 4 controller, both of which are gold with black accents, and a copy of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, which hits retail on Oct. 9.

The giveaway has what some might call a challenging prerequisite: To enter, gamers must "stop by [their] local Taco Bell and purchase any Big Box, and receive a unique code." This code must then be texted to a special number, which will reveal whether or not it's a winner.

While it is not required of participants to actually consume the contents of the Big Box, they must commit to making the $5 purchase. For those who don't like to waste food, however, and want to know what they're getting into: The particular quesarito box variation featured on the contest announcement page includes a large drink, chips, two tacos and the namesake quesadilla/burrito hybrid.

However, according to the giveaway's official rules, "no purchase [is] necessary to enter." Gamers who balk at the cost of entry or the potential imposition of Taco Bell upon them may note that codes can be obtained by a mail-in request. Additionally, participants can submit a request for a single code online after the first month of the promotion.

Fans of PlayStation and/or Taco Bell might recall this is not the first time the pair have formed a partnership. Prior to the console's launch, the fast food chain sponsored an identical PlayStation 4 giveaway.
