Warner Bros. announced new and upcoming downloadable content for the console versions of Batman: Arkham Knight today.
According to the press release, the 2008 Tumbler Batmobile Pack is now available to season pass holders with PlayStation 4 and Xbox One copies of the game. This puts Batman behind the wheel of his ride from Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.
Also available today is a skin based on the hero's costume from the first Arkham game, Batman: Arkham Asylum.
This DLC is just the first of a wave of content coming to the game. Next week sees the release of GCP Lockdown, which stars Nightwing and has players fighting off against the Penguin. This is joined by the second Crime Fighter Challenge Pack, which adds new challenge maps.
Warner Bros uploaded a trailer to its Arkham YouTube channel to give gamers their first look at this month's DLC. You can check it out above.
Also announced today for an October launch is another new Crime Fighter Challenge set, as well as skins and a Batmobile taken straight from the 1960s Batman series. There will also be Catwoman's Revenge, which takes place after the conclusion of Arkham Knight. Players take on the Riddler as the titular heroine.
The Arkham Knight season pass, which offers all of the content above, is available now for $40. It grants access to six month's worth of new downloads, which the game will receive through the end of this year.
Warner Bros. also reiterated in the release that a patched version of the game for the Windows PC, which notoriously arrived with major problems on launch day, "will be available in the coming weeks." Following confirmation of performance issues, the developer pulled the PC edition from sale. It has since released a patch for those who already have the PC edition, which was made available earlier this month.
Polygon awarded the fully functional console versions of Batman: Arkham Knight a perfect score.
