Crystal Dynamics' Rise of the Tomb Raider features a more confident and accomplished Lara Croft than that portrayed in the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot. Now she has a firm sense of her skills and her mission.
Since E3, Microsoft has been showing segments of the game, which is due to be released on Xbox One in November, with a PlayStation 4 and Windows PC version following in holiday 2016 and early 2016, respectively.
Polygon recently spent a few hours at a Microsoft event playing through the early sections of the game, and came back with this 10-minute gameplay clip showing Lara Croft attacking a nest of enemies who are guarding an old Soviet military base.
This section marks how the protagonist makes use of stealth tactics, weapons and crafting as she fights her way through various hostile encounters.
