Starting in October, Nickelodeon is throwing viewers way, way back to the ‘90s for a line-up featuring some of its most classic shows.
Nickelodeon indulges in ‘90s nostalgia with new programming block

Parent company Viacom confirmed next month’s launch of The Splat, a new nightly programming block to air on Nickelodeon sister channel TeenNick. From 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., fans of shows like Hey Arnold, Kenan and Kel and Ren and Stimpy can relive their childhoods.
Not only will the Nick-at-Nite-esque block include eternal #90sKid favorites, but it will also bring back interstitials and promos for the full experience.
The Splat was first hinted at via a plethora of social media platforms, such as Twitter and Tumblr. A video compilation of clips from classic Nicktoons and other Nickelodeon shows appeared on these Splat-branded sites, leading to speculation that the channel was planning to revive popular programming from its past.
The Splat launches Oct. 5 on TeenNick. In the meantime, fans can gear up for the premiere by visiting its website.
