Watch the first trailer for BBC's Grand Theft Auto TV drama

The BBC unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto TV movie The Gamechangers today.

As previously reported, the film goes back to 2002 to take a look at the controversy surrounding the release of Grand Theft Auto 3. Daniel Radcliffe stars as Sam Houser, president and co-founder of Rockstar Games. Causing trouble for Houser is Jack Thompson (Bill Paxton), the attorney that led the charge against the game's violent content that continues to follow the series to this day.

Rockstar is not involved with the film, originally named Gamechanger, and threatened to sue the BBC for trademark infringement back in May.

Despite that potential legal trouble, an airdate has been set. The Gamechangers premieres September 15th at 9pm on the BBC Two.
