The $150 Star Wars BB-8 is not 'on sale' at Target for $80, be careful

Toys from the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens will go on sale tonight at 12:01, and one of the hottest tickets is the $150 BB-8 we've covered extensively today. Yes, it's a great toy, but you have to be careful. There are actually two BB-8 toys that will go on sale tonight.

The $80 BB-8 toy that Target is offering is actually a Target exclusive, and features a physical remote control instead of the app that controls the $150 model. It's a completely different toy, although people have been contacting me today expressing their confusion at the two different price points.

We're going to go looking for the $80 model to see if it's worth your time and money, but be very aware that this is a different toy than the one most are discussing online, and some people may get confused during the crush of a busy store at midnight. Be careful out there.
