The best looking new Star Wars toys out there ...and the weirdest

It's a brand new day for Star Wars. Star Wars merchandise, that is.

We took a look at what Hasbro, the name most closely associated with Star Wars toys, has on offer for fans, and we've got our favorites. There were also some things that were downright inexplicable. But hey, they can't all be technologically stunning BB-8 replicas.

• Amazon's exclusive set of stormtroopers, one for each significant evolution of the uniform, looks ready to unlawfully seize your droid.
• Entertainment Earth's exclusive 4-pack is similar: beautiful looking and, as part of "The Black Series," extra articulated.
• This is a Nerf version of Chewbacca's bowcaster, and now that you know it exists you can't live without it.
• What would a wave of Star Wars toys be without some highly accurate not-for-bashing lightsabers? Here's Darth Vader's, with stand.
• Luke and Yoda's lightsabers also get this treatment, as well as, of course, Kylo Ren's

• Episode VI Luke Skywalker: Or maybe a Jawa?
• Sure, Walgreens. Your exclusive Darth Vader figure features a removable hand and a translucent (WHY) helmet so you can see his skull beneath. But this pose only says one thing, and that's "NOOOOOoooOOOOOooOOOOOoOO!"
• Stare into the pixelated eyes of Furbacca as you would the void. What does he keep in that satchel? Best not to ask.
