Fallout 4's dialogue library is greater than that of Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, combined, Bethesda Game Studios boasted on Twitter.
It would stand to reason that the number of spoken lines in Fallout 4 are vastly greater, considering the main playable character — who can be of either gender — speaks, unlike Skyrim or Fallout 3. Further, the robotic assistant that features in the beginning of the game can call the main character by a variety of names — including Fuckface — so this likely figures into the total.
Nonetheless, 111,000 lines of dialogue were recorded, a process taking "many years," Bethesda says. The recording completed only recently.
