Another PlayStation 2 game is being released for PlayStation 4 this week, Sony announced on Sunday. It's Arc The Lad: Twilight of the Spirits, the role-playing game Sony published for the console in 2003.
The game had been previously mentioned in a hype video announcing PS2 games' debut on PS4 back in December. There were six games in the Arc the Lad main series, the final two on PS2.
This isn't backward compatibility, it's a digital-only version of the game sold separately. A PS2 disc of the same game will not work in the PS4.
Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits launches on Tuesday, Jan. 12 along with several other new releases for PSN. They include The Banner Saga, Gone Home, and Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India, all on PlayStation 4. Prices were not mentioned.
