The X-Files has been off the air for more than 10 years, but with the revival just two weeks away from debuting, Fox has released the first minute from the premiere.
"My name is Fox Mulder," star David Duchovney's voice can be heard saying at the beginning of the video. "Since my childhood, I've been obsessed by a controversial global phenomenon."
The clip doesn't offer any new information, but rather takes fans of the series back through the various cases Mulder and Agent Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson) worked during their time in the FBI's X-Files department.
Toward the end of the clip, Mulder explains that the FBI "shut them down" in 2002, but despite the agency's best attempts to stop their digging into the paranormal, Mulder's obsession never went away.
The scene can be viewed on the show's official website, where people can also set a reminder for the premiere and create a custom avatar.
The X-Files' new season will debut as a special two-part event, with the first episode airing on Sunday, Jan. 24 at 10 p.m. ET and the second episode airing the next night at the same time.
