Lego introduces 1966 Batman set

It's time to explore the Batcave

Lego is gearing its next batch of Batman toys towards the nostalgic set

The building block company announced on Tuesday that it was launching the original Batcave from the 1966 Batman series for people to purchase.

The series, which starred Adam West as the titular crime fighting vigilante, introduced fans to one of the more memorable Batcaves. The hero's underground lair has since been reimagined multiple times on film, most recently in Zack Snyder's upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

According to a press release, the set will feature a Batlab and Batcomputer that can be used to help "drive out villains." The set also comes equipped with three different vehicles, including the Batcopter, Batcycle and, of course, Batmobile.

Classic Batman characters from the series will also be available as part of the set, including a retro looking Joker, Batman, Robin, Catwoman and more.

The set will be available to purchase for $269.99 sometime in March.
