New trailer introduces you to the agents of The Division

Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.

A new trailer for Tom Clancy's The Division — a good portion of it gameplay — focuses on the singleplayer campaign and the story supporting the post-apocalyptic take on the Tom Clancy brand of tactical combat.

In it, we see a Division whose job is to round up high-value survivors who can help New York rebuild after this disaster. Operations take agents above and below ground and, as usual, they will need a wide variety of tactics and customizable weapons to take down those who prey on the destroyed city.

Tom Clancy's The Division launches March 8 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. The game held a closed alpha in December and will stage a beta sometime over the next several weeks. For more, see our hands-on preview from E3 2015.
