Pokkén Tournament's roster is expanding to include three more fighters, according to popular fansite Serebii. As seen in the latest issue of Japanese magazine CoroCoro, Legendary monster Mewtwo will be playable in the Wii U port of the arcade game, along with Braixen and Garchomp.
Mewtwo will make another appearance in the Tekken-inspired fighter: His special Shadow form was revealed in November, and will debut during a boss battle in the game.
An additional fighter will be revealed this Friday, according to the game's official Twitter account. The game launches in March worldwide, and its specially designed arcade controller will make the leap to consoles as an additional play-style choice.
We had a great time with the Pokkén Tournament arcade cabinet during its limited run at Dave and Buster's, which featured a limited selection of fighters, such as Pikachu, Charizard and Blaziken.
