The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is heading to Wii U with a high-definition remake, and it's bringing amiibo compatibility with it. According to the latest issue of Famitsu, not only does its included Wolf Link figure unlock new content for the game, but the existing line of Zelda-based amiibo provide access to extra features, too.
As translated by Nintendo Everything, scanning Wolf Link into Twilight Princess lets players enter an exclusive area. If Link defeats this dungeon's boss while equipped with the giant wallet item, he'll receive the upgraded bottomless wallet, which boasts a rupee capacity almost 10 times greater than the former item.
As for the other figures, both Link and Toon Link replenish your arrows when scanned; Zelda and Sheik restore hearts.
The one amiibo players might want to avoid using with Twilight Princess is Ganondorf. When scanning the long-time series villain into the game, the amount of damage dealt by enemies is doubled.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD launches March 4. Watch the debut trailer below.
