The director's commentary for Life Is Strange, which was included on the physical-format limited edition that launched yesterday, is also free downloadable content on all platforms.
The commentary is more or less a series of behind-the-scenes videos with developers at Dontnod Entertainment. It's already available on the Steam and Xbox marketplaces (for Xbox One) and will arrive on PlayStation Network and for Xbox 360 on Jan. 25.
Life Is Strange is a five-episode narrative game that originally launched digitally from January to October of last year on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It picked up nominations from the Game Developers Choice Awards and the DICE Awards, and won the "Games for Impact" award at The Game Awards 2015.
