No price yet

Mortal Kombat X, which launched April 2015, will re-launch in March as Mortal Kombat XL with all of the game's downloadable content — characters, skins, movesets, etc. — developer NetherRealm Studios announced this morning.

The special edition launches March 1 in North America and March 4 in Europe, both online and in stores, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. (Windows PC was not mentioned in the announcement video.) Pricing is not yet known. The DLC covered includes everything from Kombat Pack 1, which is already out, and Kombat Pack 2, which is coming soon. Both of those cost $29.99.

The announcement trailer is above. (Warning, it has a lot of gore, brutality and dickpunching in it.) Naturally, there's a pre-order come-on for even more DLC at the end of it.
