Mike Tyson's last fight was more than a decade ago, but he will make his mixed-martial arts debut this year in EA Sports UFC 2, coming in March.
Tyson, the former heavyweight boxer, last appeared in a video game on the roster of 2011's Fight Night Champion, which was made by the same developers building UFC 2. He'll show up here in two forms — when he was heavyweight champion from late 1986 to early 1990, and "Legacy Mike Tyson," with the facial tattoo he got in 2003, right before his last professional victory. And then we get to see what the baddest man on the planet would have done if allowed to grab an opponent's skull and throw an elbow into his kisser.
Of course, there's a catch to how to get him. Fighters can either grind through the game's career mode and reach the hall of fame to unlock Tyson, or they can pre-order UFC 2 to get Tyson on day one (as well as Bas Rutten and Kazushi Sakuraba).
EA Sports UFC 2 launches March 15 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A weeklong beta for it begins Jan. 28. EA Sports' first UFC game, which launched in 2014, is available in the vault of free games on EA Access for Xbox One.
