Mortal Kombat X's second downloadable Kombat Pack — which includes new fighters Bo' Rai Cho, Leatherface, Triborg and the xenomorph from Alien — isn't coming to the Windows PC version of the game, developer NetherRealm Studios confirmed today.
"Mortal Kombat XL and Kombat Pack 2 will available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One only," Tyler Lansdown, NetherRealm community specialist, said on the Test Your Might forums today.
NetherRealm and publisher Warner Bros. announced Mortal Kombat XL earlier today. The re-release will include all of the fighting game's downloadable content, as well as a handful of exclusive cosmetic bonuses, and will hit PS4 and Xbox One on March 1.
It's not yet clear whether players who own the Windows PC version of Mortal Kombat X will also get the game's improved, GGPO-like netcode, which NetherRealm is testing in beta on consoles. We've reached out to Lansdown and Warner Bros. for clarification.
