Nintendo's amiibo figure for Roy, a Fire Emblem character, will be sold exclusively at GameStop, and the retailer is opening pre-orders at 3 p.m. ET today.

As usual, GameStop will take pre-orders in stores and on its website.

Roy arrived in the roster of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS last June, the same time Nintendo announced that it would eventually release amiibo figures for all 51 Smash Bros. characters. Nintendo said in December that it planned to release the Roy amiibo, along with ones for ROB and Street Fighter's Ryu, on March 18, 2016.

In addition, five new amiibo will be available tomorrow, Jan. 22, at retailers everywhere: Lucas (Super Smash Bros.), Blathers (Animal Crossing), Celeste (Animal Crossing), Kicks (Animal Crossing) and Mr. Resetti (Animal Crossing). The figures will be accompanied by Series 2 of the Animal Crossing amiibo cards.
