The PlayStation 4 revamp of Valkyria Chronicles will head stateside this spring, Sega confirmed in a press release. Check out its launch trailer above.
The company first announced a high-definition remake of the PlayStation 3 tactical role-playing game in November. When the game arrives on Sony's current-gen hardware, it will come with both Japanese and English audio, upgraded visauls and, unlike in its original release, trophy support.
Whenever it launches — the date has not yet been specified — Valkyria Chronicles Remastered will cost $29.99 at retail, with all first-run and pre-ordered copies arriving in a special case featuring artwork of the game's lead squad.
PlayStation 4 marks the third platform the RPG is playable on. Following its PS3 debut, Sega ported the game to PC via Steam in 2014.
Later this year, Valkyria Chronicles fans can look forward to a completely new adventure in the series, Valkyria: Azure Revolution. That game, also set for PS4, has not yet been confirmed for a Western release, however.
