Final Fantasy Explorers has me in its clutches, and it refuses to let me go. It's got most of my favorite grindy stuff from Monster Hunter, without most of the difficulty-based friction of that franchise. It's got monster collecting and raising, which is a seasoning that, in my opinion, makes any game delicious. It has a huge amount of customization options, unlockable jobs and countless pieces of equipment pulled from the franchise's history. Did I mention the collectible monsters?
For a brief demonstration of why Final Fantasy Explorers hasn't left my side for a moment this past week, check out the video above, in which Phil and I tackle a mission to take down Shiva — and for more on the game, check out Phil's full review!
