Final Fantasy Tactics Advance heads to the Wii U Virtual Console tomorrow, Jan. 28. The Game Boy Advance game will cost $7.99 and, like other Virtual Console re-releases, features offscreen play.
Square Enix's tactical role-playing game classic is the latest in a recent spate of quality Virtual Console releases. Last week, Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbados' Treasure and Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 were made available for download. Metroid: Zero Mission also arrived earlier this month. (Things remain quiet on the Nintendo 3DS front, however.)
For Final Fantasy fans with PlayStation consoles, the PlayStation Store is offering up a number of games in the title at a discount through the week. This includes Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, the PlayStation Portable remake of the original title in the spinoff series. While not a sequel to that game, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance shares its setting and gameplay.
